"In recent years Corporate Social Responsibility has become very topical. We ourselves at VIS have been proponents, witnesses and convinced supporters of this concept. But there is more, indeed. There is something that begins before CSR that I call individual responsibility. I believe that anyone of us who is in a position to do something that benefits the community has a moral duty to do so. And sometimes it costs very little. I have been donating blood since I was 18. I have an admission to do: the first time I did it was in school because choosing to donate meant that on Saturday morning, after the donation, you could spend some time at the local market, instead of going to the classroom. I will never forget that first time! I was being cool but I almost collapsed from a drop in pressure. Over time, thanks to my parents who explained to me the importance of donating blood and the numerous information campaigns from Avis, I realized that there was much more behind this simple gesture. There is the concept of ​​serving others, of doing something that costs you nothing and that for someone can mean life. I like the idea of ​​doing something for someone I will never even meet. I have donated many bags of blood and plasma, but I don't know a single one beneficiary of them. If I do it, if we all do it \(all those who can\) I know that if I ever need it one day, I can count on it. Since I am NOT COMPETITIVE \(and I have never been…😈\) a few years ago I challenged myself: get to the target of 100 donations before turning 50! 11 October 2022: Mission accomplished! Just before my forty-ninth birthday in December! Thanks to Avis for the exceptional service it has always provided in our area, and for always pampering, visiting and cheerfully piercing me. 😊 Thanks to my parents for teaching me with their example that with little you can do a lot. The electrocardiograph donated to the Avis headquarters in Pavullo was the icing on the cake:  the hundredth donation had to be celebrated !! 😁 And to all of you a heartfelt advice: donate blood!
