Sept. 26 - One year after the fire - A letter from Adamo "Hello everyone dear colleagues.   One year ago, on a sunday at 1:15 PM while it was pouring outside, I got a call from Giada from VIS 2. She told me what she saw from her house: fire sirens could be heard blaring wildly and a thick blanket of black smoke could be seen coming out of the windows of VIS 2. I rushed to the scene, in the meantime alerting Pier, and when we arrived we witnessed the worst horror imaginable: the plant enveloped in smoke, impossible to enter \(the electric energy had gone out\) and impossible to open the doors to let in the firefighters who had istantly accurred. Panic, dismay, despair.   What followed, that same day and the days later, is a story we all lived through, told, and still remember very well.
