Last Saturday morning, team building hike to Madonna della Corona Sanctuary, in the province of Verona! The church, carved into the rock, was built in the 1500s and located 775 meters above sea level. That’s the reason why it is called “The Sanctuary suspended in the air”. The Sanctuary currently is a major touristic and pilgrimage site which can be reached through a path in the woods starting from Brentino di Belluno and with more than 1,500 step stones/stairs. It was undoubtedly an arduous climb, but once we reached the top we told ourselves that it was absolutely worth it!
