We are proud to announce that Vis Hydraulics North America, Inc. was established on June 14, 2021 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Vis Hydraulics is a world class manufacturer of hydraulic cartridge valve technology that serves over 400 customers worldwide and is located in Pavullo, Italy.

The North American market has been a focus for us since our inception, and we have increased our attention and service to our customers there in recent years. In fact, several of our most important customers are based in North America and operate internationally. With such strong growth in our short history (Vis Hydraulics just recently celebrated its 12th year in operation by hiring its 400th employee!), our plan is to take our same proven culture and practices into the world’s largest fluid power market to further expand our footprint and impact on the industry.

Vis Hydraulics North America’s primary focus is to be a loyal partner that contributes to our North American customers’ growth and have a positive impact on their success as well as the advancement of the fluid power industry. Our goal is to reinforce the partnerships with our existing customers and to earn the trust of new companies that show an interest in our products and company culture.

Rick Guidish will lead Vis Hydraulics North America as President. He brings over 33 years of focused experience in the fluid power industry, most recently with 23 years at Deltrol Fluid Products as their Director of Sales & Marketing. He is finishing up a six week immersion in the business and cultural aspects of the company (affectionality known among our associates at the headquarters in Pavullo as the “Visness”) and is eager to return to Chicago to begin his work for Vis Hydraulics North America in early August.
