📅Last Thursday, at the suggestion of our Supplier Quality Engineer Luca Degli Esposti, the first "Suppliers Day" was held, a day dedicated to our trusted suppliers. 🔍The idea was born with the aim of transmitting to the supply chain the focus on Quality that has been a pillar for us for years, in order to make significant improvements in performance and increase the effectiveness of our production systems. 🤝It was also a way to allow our team and all suppliers to get to know us live, understand who we are, what we do, how we work, where our products end up; this is because for us the human aspect is important to establish a good working relationship. 👉The meeting touched upon the following topics: • Corporate presentation of our CEO Adamo Venturelli; • Market evolution and trend • Opening to the Quality factor • Overview of projects in the CEM area • Quality performance • Excursus on the current situation of energy and material prices • Changes underway in VIS and new projects in the logistics field. 🏭After a rich buffet, we took guests to visit our plants, including MECOF, to show our organization and the route of material they supply us. 💪It was a beautiful and rewarding challenge to set up an event of this magnitude for the first time, with 60 visitors from both local and all over Italy and belonging to different product classes, and about 20 colleagues from VIS. 👏Thanks to the suppliers who took part in this day, to the VDE and SALES TEAMS who managed the guided tours, to the guys from the PURCHASING, MARKETING, IQI, IPQI and CEM departments and offices who played a key role in setting up and organization of the day and finally to our Governance for having approved this initiative. 🌱Proud to be able to carry on healthy partnerships with you and to open you the doors of our company, hoping to have transmitted you our passion and our willingness to bring about innovation to our reference market, making Quality an essential requirement for common growth. 🚀See you next year, with new goals and challenges!
